~ French Nordic Chills ~

Well, the wonderful Jeanne D'Arc Living magazines arrived in the mail yesterday. How exciting to open up the boxes all the way from Denmark. To smell that wonderful new book odor. To view upon the lovely pages without advertisements! To have my daughter take them to Lone Star this afternoon only to have the special edition book sell out within a 2 hour time span. The magazine has created a book entitled 'Brilliant REUSE ', filled with their last years most memorable pictures and creative ideas. The magazines are filled with beautiful summer ideas and Scandinavian chic. Unfortunately, the April magazines are now sold out through the company as they only publish a limited quantity in English. I have pre-ordered for June but they will not arrive for 3 weeks.

Grab your 5th edition JDL magazine for May while you can, as this is all that is left at my Lone Star booth.
 ~ Going, going, gone...~
~ Hurry ladies!!!! Run while you can...~
~ Oh Deer ! That lady took the last book!!! Said she gots chills looking at the first page! ~

~ Jeanne D'Arc Has Arrived ~

It has been quite a while since my last blog. I am excited to announce that I have decided to offer Jeanne D'Arc magazines and products in my booth at Lone Star Antiques. If you have never heard of this magazine, you are in for a fabulous treat !!! Originating in Denmark, this magazine has been around for a while in Europe. Now the company is offering their products to the United States. I am posting some pics from last months magazine. Believe me when I say every magazine is gorgeous! I have a special place for mine so they do not get messed up. They are $13.95 each and worth every cent. If you love shabby Gustavian white on white this is the book for you. They are expanding their items to clothes and linens, but with the shipping and customs charges from Europe it may be something I will pursue in the future if they open up a base here in the states.
