~ Reflections....~

There is truly something captivating about old cloudy and cracked mirrors. Who cares if you cannot see your reflection. Who did they once belong to? What did they see as they peered into the glass?...

" Time for a Change..."

" ETSY..."

" ETSY..."

Friday night and the air is crisp and clean after the rain today. Anticipating my new space at Lone Star Antiques at the end of this month. Needing a change which includes a little down sizing. I think it is healthy to make changes-keeps things from getting boring if you know what I mean. ETSY has become my new obsession. There is an awful lot of talent out there. Please visit my new friend Angie's Etsy store. You can find her awesome and gently priced goodies at http://www.etsy.com/shop/annabelleestudio or visit her blog at http://www.alfleamarketstyle.blogspot.com/. I think she is having a giveaway right now...

~ Thoughts...~

" ETSY..."

Another week is nearing the end and do I feel as if I have accomplished anything? Hmmm....Let's see...Pharmacology and drug tests, immunizations starting tomorrow, CPR class today, drug dose test Friday, oh and this is everything I have to do to go back to work as a nurse. No wonder we have a shortage. If one can just skip the red tape-we might be a little better off or at least a little less stressed. I will endure and continue on....To relieve my anxiety, I peeked through more photos and this is what I found...

~ Tiny Trinkets....~

We all have those yummy little treasures that sometimes don't make sense, but when added to other pieces make perfect sense. Trinkets or baubles or whatever name you have for them seem to hold a special place in our hearts and our homes. Here are a few of my faves...

~ Match.Com..?~

" Meet Sushi-adorable and moody biotch, but oh sooo loveable. Nearing 21 (human) years of age, this single lady loves to bark and snort when she gets excited. Her hobbies include sleeping, barking, sleeping, eating, sleeping, shredding up leftover papers, sleeping again, and turning her back on the male species. She is particularly fond and proud of her bowed legs, one of which heads south when she runs. She enjoys counting her spots and rarely brushes her teeth. She has lately considered herself a full-size gal having gained a pound over the last year. She does not want to have any puppies because she claims it will stretch her beauty marks. This gal is up for a good time as long as it does not interfere with her daily naps. Willing participants should e-mail her at onehotchichi.com....."
" Meet Buger (Lynn's youngest). He is unable to disclose his age as he was abandoned as a young pup during a fleamarket fiasco. Mistaken for an old hand me down sweater, this little guy snuck into a nearby rusty watering can only to be rapidly snatched up by Lynn. Being dragged several miles through Canton with SR pulling the cart, poor Buger became so motion sick that he passed out for several hours and woke the next morning in Lynns yard. What's a dog to do? Well, for starters, scratch at the front door and act injured when the owner opens the door. Which is exactly what Buger did and the rest is history. This little guy enjoys barking non stop. He has the uncanny ability to lift his ears up and back which I hear the ladies love. Although small in stature, this little guy packs a big punch if you know what I mean. He loves spotted females, lanky legs and slim hind quarters. Hmmmm....sounds like another dog I know. He has a bad habit of chewing his right paw and can sometimes be heard knawing all night. This developed as an aftershock of his abandonment, but Lynn and SR do not want to remind him of that. He enjoys playing and barking with his 2 brothers, and yes, follows them with an occasional marking on the furniture. One cannot expect perfection, but he comes close. Sounds like this guy needs a hook-up. Fabulous females can e-mail this guy at soggypaw.com

Here it is, another Friday night. And since I have zero social life, I thought it might be cute to pair up a cute couple. Although I am unlucky in love, that doesn't mean that I am not lucky at matching up compatible couples. Tell me what you think.....

Let's continue with our journey of Lynn and SR's home....One cannot help but be relaxed as you breeze through her hallways and rooms. It literally takes your breath away, and not only because it is so fantastic, but it takes a considerable amount of time to just stop and look at everything she has collected over the years...
