~ Inspired ~

" One can never have too many plates....."
" Love the French armoire...."

" Really love these old mannequins-but what's with the waist?......

" Just up my alley, a neat cherub sconce holding back sheer curtains over the headboard..."

" Sweet bed made from old fence pieces......."

Lately, I have found myself thumbing through numerous decorating books. I guess it is because I have finally gotten to the end of my storage unit and have about 2/3 of it cleared out. Goodwill was very excited to see me pull up several times with my loaded truck. Sometimes you just have to purge quickly in order to feel like you are moving ahead. Now I am looking through all my neat books-cant seem to part with them. I took some inspirational photos and I hope you feel the same.......

  3. Great photos....I simply cannot part with my old decorating books....that dress form is a riot...I have several but only one with a cinched waist like that! It also has a derriere that surely was used for bustle skirts!

  7. I did a purge and wow it still bothers me some.
But you can't keep everything forever, right?

I hope you are doing well...and as you make room in the natural... you will fill up with peace and goodness and contentment in the spiritual and make yourself open to new opportunities to bring you in the fullness of bountiful happiness and blessings...

    Take care...Lee

  8. Beautiful photos, beautiful blog. And congrats on purging ~ not an easy task at all, though well worth the effort. Books are a constant source of inspiration, and something new can be gleaned each time you peruse the pages. Doesn't that make them purgeproof? Have a wonderful day. ~ Angela

  12. Great photos - I love that wall! I know what you mean. I went through all my decorating books with the intent to purge and make more room on my bookshelf. I got rid of exactly 3. Oh well, best intentions! LOL!
