Sometimes we run across certain items that by second glance take you by surprise. A rusty paint can or an old gutted out clock, or maybe even an old cabinet door. There are those people out there who have the talent of seeing these items in "their way". I so long to be one of those creative minds that can see the finished product before it gets started. It is a special talent!!! Lynn and Felicia are two of those people. Junk creative geniuses is what I will call them. They have an uncanny ability to utilize what most would consider trash, and not only that make it beautiful!!!! I am sooooo jealous right now, but am glad they do it. It gives me a starting point for some of the ideas I have running through my mind. Right now my mind is asleep but if it wakes up I will be ready to create.....I hope......
Oh I am so like you. I only see the junk and have no imagination for what it can be. These are fabulous examples of thinking out of the box. That does take a lot of talent, and one I don't have, but I love to be inspired. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI am loving the last photo. I wish some of that creativity would rub off on me!
ReplyDeleteGood morning sweetie,
ReplyDeleteWe are all creative in our own way.
You put a lot of creative energy into into your home, and it shows, and I love it!! (speaking of jealous, my home is a mes, and wish it were beautiful like yours!!) =0)
But, I spend all my time crafting and running the store. (and blogging)(fun, but only so many hours in a day)
We have seasons and areas of creativity.
Taking time to share all your lovely pics is such a gift to us, and it is encouraging and just plain lovely!!
Thank you.
Have a wonderful creative, or non-creative day. Whatever comes. =)))
Blessings,
Barbara Jean
Did Lynn and Felicia do the creative beauties in the pics?
ReplyDeleteDo they have sites on the internet?
Would love to see more of their things. Love 'em!!
Barbara Jean
I agree, some of the girls you know have more creative talent. Sometimes I wonder how their mind works and wish mine could get some of that talent. Your booth always has wonderful creative items in it and you have a talent for displaying your treasures. That's a gift too. Was so good to meet you the other day. I really enjoyed our visit. Keep on doing what you are doing for it is super creative.
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Pat
Love the creative ideas that you have shared. Now my mind is wandering to projects that I could create...

ReplyDeleteOh my... I have two cabinet doors and an old clock case out in the garage!!! Thanks for the inspiration!! Have a great weekend, I am headed out to find some junk! Janna
ReplyDeleteLove it all! Have a great creative week-end!
ReplyDeleteInspiring! My problem lies not in the "seeing what could be" (I often do) but in actually taking the plunge. BTW, your playlist is so soothing.
ReplyDeleteI agree...Felicia is amazing! Her Bountiful Booth is always wonderful. I many times see random things and know something could be done with it and in my mind I think, "Felicia would make that wonderful". I am not sure you give yourself enough credit...you do some pretty amazing things as well.
ReplyDeleteTiina I think you are pretty amazing yourself! I look at your booth and wish I could do what you do..but you inspire me to try..my next furniture is looking better than the first using your technique...hopefully I will get beeter and better.. I recently tryed to decorate some old bottles for my booth..and was not happy with the results...I looked at your pictures and they look sooo beautiful...I'll try again.. "-)
ReplyDeleteTiina - Yours is the first blog I go to each time! I love it! You have such a flair and an "eye" yourself. Loving all that you share with us and I'm off to paint an old door, or do some bottles, or make some pillows, or a shadow box full of buttons.... thanks for your endless inspiration! I SO wish I lived down there in TX!
