Here is where I should have had my camera so I could have posted a pic of Theresa of Time Worn Interiors and Theresa of Garden Antqs Vintage. It was soooo nice to finally meet them at Lone Star today. I knew they were on their way, and like many junker women they were late due to shopping delays. I know they are having a great time trekking all over Texas at all the hot spots. The only hot spot I had today was the hot flash that I got after I finished painting my additional booth space. I got lazy ladies and just did the old stain, and pounced the brush here and there to try to create the "stained" look. Since this part of the space did not have the original paperbag paper on it, I just didn't want to take the time to paper then paint then stain then do lettering. I am getting tooooo old for this!! Anyway I work at Lone Star tomorrow so I will fill the space on Sunday and Monday. I am ready to empty out my poor dining room that has now become a paint assembly line.....

I feel your pain! That is one of the reasons I have not gone into another mall after getting out of Atiques & Moore's last July. The work is non stop! I do miss some of the parts of the business though. Do you think we will ever get to meet?????? Seems like we always miss each other on the days I come that way. Oh well, maybe someday!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so wonderful. I love all the antiques you have. I would love to see your store. One day! Your little doggie does have a good life. Take care, Martha
