I decided to redo my header. I really loved the old one, but it too gets a little old after a while. Spent my weekend constructing the rag wreaths that you see in my new header. Wow, I did not realize how long it takes to rip and tear and tie knots. I think they look pretty good, and are just the right touch of shabby if I do say so myself. Not only that, but I have them listed for sale amongst many other goodies that can be found on my newly created Etsy shop. Have a look!!! http://www.etsy.com/shop/fleachic

I love the new header..its always nice to change sometimes.. everything feels fresh and new! I really like the idea of these wreaths.. I am thinking of making one with the burlap fabric you buy in the garden dept.. the weave is looser than the regular burlaps..but it drapes and fall really nice..Nice project while I watch a tv show :-)

ReplyDeleteMe again, I want to tell you how nice it is to see creams and beige decorating. I am so tired of seeing so much grey, I know that is where the trend is headed, but I don't like it. I love creams and beiges. I enjoy your blog very much.

ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE your new header and those rag wreaths. We just made the decision that I will retire Sept 30 and we are planning a month long road trip the next day. Otherwise I would be buying both sizes of wreaths. Guess I will attempt to make one for my home when I come back from our trip and have all the wonderful free time. Thank you for such beauty and inspiration. BTW I love the cherubs too.
ReplyDeleteAloha,
