I bet that I can assume that most of us love bling. The older the better. There is truly something magical about smokey rhinestones and vintage jewels. Today I found a jewel at Lone Star Antiques. A beautiful rhinestone tiara. But before I could wear it, I brought it home and listed it on ETSY. Well, the rest is history. It sold within a few minutes of the listing. Love it when that happens, but on the other hand would have loved to decorate with it. I am de-stashing the garage again and came upon a box filled with all my old marble busts. Listed all of those. Nothing quite as sweet as a chubby child's face....The French Mannequin Etsy shop is my newest....

~ Out and About...~
Made a little road trip to Dallas yesterday with my girls. Found a few goody shops and was frankly quite shocked by some of the prices! What's the next best thing to shopping? Great prices!!! Whatever the economy, everyone is always looking for a good deal. Nothing gives me a greater rush than finding just the right object and discovering that I am getting it at a steal....With that said, I have posted some more goodies to my ETSY....

~ Magical Bed Spring Wreath....~
Sometimes we stumble upon an idea sooo fabulous that we think to ourselves, now why didn't I think of that? Jo and Curt Harmon's bed spring wreaths are one such idea. Invented by Jo's husband Curt, come these fabulous multi- size wreaths for indoors or out. Circular or heart shaped, and for the holidays fabulous Christmas tree wreaths. These fantastic and one-of-a-kind wreaths can be purchased or ordered in quantities at the Quinlan Fleamarket in East Texas. Jo's phone number is 903-456-4129. Give her a call and put her husband to work making these awesome wreaths. Trust me you can't just buy one. As purchased, they are lovely and rusty and ready to hang or stack. But why not make them your own by adding ribbons or bows or whatever strikes your fancy......

~ Booth Redo....~
I have not posted pics of my new space at Lone Star since I moved. I decided to downsize and re-locate. Next to Shabby Y on the corner. Love bigger booths, but you can't beat the decrease in stress levels when you know you don't have to worry about filling a larger space. For me right now this is just the right size.....

~ Cozy Evenings...~
Even though there is nothing cozy about the hot weather we have had lately, I took my girlfriend Lynn's offer to come over and relax by the pool while the kids went crazy. You know me, when I go to Lynn's house it is always a great photo op. Lynn is now into collecting old paint brushes-I hear the old car brooms are popular now as well. As usual the house was a wonderful mix of shabby creams and whites just like we like it.....
