I am enjoying the cooler air that the rain has brought-not the frizzy hair, but the cooler air. Presley the Poodle was having fun this evening trying on his new hat. Added a little more goodies to Etsy and have started painting my large Cello. Will post some pics when it is done...

A few more Etsy surprises for this week. Waiting for a little rain to head our way. Another week has flown by and I can feel summer vacation just around the corner. Is it me or is the world situation getting crazier and crazier? Volcanoes, floods, and lets not forget the everyday earth quakes....I say enjoy the here and now because who knows what tomorrow will bring....Prayers for everyone out there involved in any of these disasters....

About to head out to plant some more spring flowers. As I was waiting to pick up my daughter at school I was rummaging through the new Country Living magazine. Check out the yummy mirrored vanity with all the photos on the old arched mirror. Love it!!!! I also love my new paper umbrella and my sweet pair of baby shoes that I bought on Etsy...

I am always amazed at the wondrous talent out there in the universe. One such person is Bridgette of Buttfreckle on Etsy. These little guys (or girls) sell out the minute she lists them. As you can see in the photo it is no wonder why. So cute and tiny and soft. My Buttfreckle is called Buttered Popcorn. I think he qualifies to be an addition to Dream in Cream. Go check her little freckles out. They are really sweet...

Blessed with another lovely weather day! Trimmed the hedges and swept the driveway. Surfed Ebay and listed on Etsy. Getting the decorating urge again-which is something I have neglected for weeks. Hmmmm...maybe more furniture for Lone Star, and perhaps a little revamping in the kitchen. Or maybe a good movie and a bag of chocolate Easter eggs...

I am an avid magazine reader. And I love it when there are new ideas that make you say "Why didn't I think of that?" Flea Market Style is one such magazine. I have added some of their creative ideas to my blog today because I think they are inspiring and something a lot of us can do. The weather is lovely outside and the flowers are blooming. What more could one want? Maybe to win the lottery, but until that happens enjoy the day...
