~ Perfect Projects ~

" Pillow made by Felicia of Bountiful with a transfer onto fabric and then added a brooch "
" Amy's clipboard with an old photo courtesy of Funky Monkey "

" Dorothy aka Shabby Y makes lovely lampshades with a variety of laces "

" Dorothy again..."

" Felicia's lovely wreath made with embellishments "

I thought this morning I would post a few pictures of some ingenious projects that I have discovered whilst shopping here and there. Sometimes it is alot cheaper to take a photo and try to do your own rendition than it is to buy the item. I am always for putting great ideas out there for people to see and do. It may create a genious spark in some of us-who knows....I always love to look at books where projects have been used as challenges for artists and others to see how many different versions people come up with over one idea.....See for yourself....

  1. Felicia's pillow is so dreamy. I love it. Her booth is always top notch along with Dorothy's. They both are so creative and now we have you there, another creative force. You girls are all wonderful artists. Thanks for sharing.

  6. You know I check your blog daily, sometimes several times a day. It's better than reading a magazine. So, if you want to post more than once a day I'm sure there would be some happy peeps out there, myself included. Like you have all this extra time on your hands, right. Just wanted you to know how much I so enjoy your posts. Hope you are having a great day, Theresa

  7. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING! It is great of you to do so. It is also wonderful that you understand that each of us take in things we see & create OUR OWN version. This has been done forever! We each have creativity in us & WHEN WE DO SOMETHING it is ours. Others may do something similar but each is unique to the creator & her choice of notions. The idea may (or may not) be original. We may think the idea is original but, believe me... we women are creative souls & have been doing so forever! The use of old lace & linens maybe new in some folks minds but, I bought a beautiful blouse/jacket made from antique linens 11 years ago in Carmel California. The idea is not new! But, the idea is still soooooooooooo beautiful & I am glad that it is resurfacing & so many talented artist are using it again. You captured this so well in your photos!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you. We are all so blessed to have you with us here in blogland & I hope we can get together for lunch soon. I can't wait to see your booth finished. I know it is a spot of wonder.
