~ Reflections ~

It is quiet this morning and so I take the time to think about the things in my life that need changing, and which change is the most important. Will it be my new start at Lone Star Antiques, will it be the new bank account I need to open, will it be the credit card debt that I have been left with to solve, or will it be the hunt for the perfect nursing job. Well, anyone who knows me will tell you that the new booth is on top of the list, but before I get going there this morning, I will be the first in line at the bank. Afterall, the booth is what generates the money isn't it? I will start there first....I especially adore mirrors, and what better way to showcase the word "reflect" than with beautiful mirrors......

  1. I want to wish you well in all your endevors. I can't wait to see your booth at Lone Star. It is such a beautiful place and the best place to have a booth. I think Ronnie and Jennifer are the best mall managers. I was a Lone Star way back when they first started in Haltom City. You will do great there.

  2. I recently 'discovered' your blog & it has become one of my favorites. I felt like commenting today on your post about 'reflections' for 2 reasons. One is that I, too, am going through a time of 'prioritizing' my life (NOT an easy thing to do), and I also LOVE mirrors in my home, especially the old, worn ones that have such character. I wish you well in your endeavors & know (from experience) that it's sometimes better to LET things happen than to MAKE things happen. ((Sue))

  3. I love mirrors old and new, my house is filled with them, they add so much to a space. Seems alot of people now going thru a time of sorting thier lives, making decisions and taking stock..I too am at a crossroads. My shop space grounds me..I go there to calm myself and the decisions swirling in my head..I do agree with Sue.. the things that are meant to be just sort of fall right into place ...sometimes its best to just let it just happen.. and all our pushing and driving things don't much diff anyway..I so enjoy your postings and pictures ! I can't wait to see more of the new space. Marlene from Cambria
