~ Fascinating Doll Heads ~

"Good Lord!" I guess SR had to add his collection too! Don't you know that dolls are for girls and not middle-aged men! I guess the next thing you will be telling us is that your granddaughter forgot this at your house. I suppose she also forgot the paperdolls that are under the bed on your side!
Ironstone and doll head. At least you don't have to water it!Brother and sister perhaps....

This doll head is very fond of old buttons!!! Way to go Girl!!!

Menage a trois? (Hope the french is spelled correctly)

Isn't it odd how strange items can be tomorrow's hot collectibles. I have always loved dolls. I used to collect expensive dolls and one-of-a-kind Teddy bears when my budget allowed it. Well, I have no budget now, so it seems appropriate that rather than being able to buy the entire doll, people are resorting to buying parts of the dolls. I first was introduced to this by Amy Wray of Funky Monkey. She has a great talent for displaying odd and unusual objects. Doll heads and parts seem to be her specialty along with mannequins. I did decorate my youngest daughters room with several neat old heads that I had collected over a period of time. Needless to say, she did not spend very many nights sleeping in her room-probably because she was being stared at all day and all night. Poor Alex-mommy's sorry. I still have them packed up and am waiting to unpack them when I get the time. In the meantime, lets take a stroll through Lynn's home again and see what that lady is up to. Her new heart's desire-you guessed it-doll heads! Now we know where they are all going! ....
